This live journal has way too many options for my emotions, and yet there are not enough, my emotons are as complicated as the ocean, and as simple as the sea.

So I rented "Alexander" the other day for the pure reason that I heard it was really bad. Also, all the great epic pictures of two thousand three and four really bit the big one. Also, that last Oliver Stone flick also, was bad, for all the wrong reasons.

Well... I've seen worse movies that are considered much better, Armageddon comes to mind. I guess about Alexander most of the people who watched it was turned off by the blatant homosexuality. However, the real Alexander was gay as the day is long, which was okay in Greek culture, so get over it.
Over all, the movie was poor. The first half hour is a strange overview of Greek history and myth, then they skip straight to the first big battle. But it was cool seeing what Oliver Stone thought the great city of Babylon looked like. Though he added the "Hanging Gardens" which are purely theoretical it ever even existed.
I give Alexander a "Okay" rating. (Rating system: classic, good, entertainment, okay, sucks.)

So I have been writing for Gargoyles for five years this month. Five years! Damn I'm getting old. I've been considering releasing a commentary on the Gargoyle series and its effect on my life. However, I'm afraid it will piss people off. I know there is an inability to grasp any new views on the series with the core fans.

Also, I beleive I will start my new job with Leeann CHin this week. This job should solve all of my financial problems if I can hold on to it. The Sub Way fiasco lingers heavily on my consciense. I plan on just sitting back and paying off my debts, a chore long over due.
